The contract will also include the conversion of the ground floor of one high rise block into flats and internal communal decorations at another. The contract period will be for 60 weeks from an estimated start date 19/07/2017. Contract Value The estimated total value of this contract is PS5.3m over the maximum 60 weeks term of the contract. However the Council is confident the bids received will be lower than the estimated value. Award criteria The contract will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations. MEAT for this contract is quality 40% and cost 60%. Further details will be provided in the invitation to tender. Cost 60% Quality 40% Quality made up of: Proposed methodology for undertaking and delivery of works (15%) Proposed quality management/contract management and supervision (10%) Proposed approach to health and safety (5%) Proposed approach to social value (5%) Proposed approach to customer care (5%) Total 100% Tenderers should be aware that we reserve the right to hold interviews during the tender process. Interviews will be for verification/clarification purposes of the written submission. We reserve the right to interview leading bidders. Additional information: Islington Council requires an organisation to supply and install insulation to 304 properties as described above to meet the design provided by Islington Council that has Planning Approval. All properties are part of Islington Council's own housing stock. Lots This contract is not being split into lots because the project is one package of works that should be carried out by one contractor. This contract will be procured using the Open Procedure. The Open Procedure means that all bidders who successfully express an interest will automatically be invited to tender and have access to the tender documents.
