The value of the contract is anticipated to be PS353,000 per year, however bidders should note that as part of the ongoing development of the QUIT programme in BHNFT/SWYFT, there may be opportunities for additional funding that could increase the capacity of the Barnsley Stop Smoking Service. Although not confirmed, if additional funding is received, there would be a requirement to support additional referrals from secondary care and mental health. There would be an expectation for the successful provider to have sufficient flexibility within their service delivery model, to manage the additional referrals and the requirements of QUIT, with possible extra resource of up to PS150,000 per annum.
