## Summary

The procurement process involves the Ministry of Defence, specifically the Air Commercial Team based in High Wycombe, which has awarded a contract for the provision of mobile crane hire to support training delivery. This tender, titled "GB-High Wycombe: Provision of Mobile Crane Hire to Support Training Delivery," falls under the services category with a classification of 'Hire of cranes with operator'. The contract is active and covers a period from 1 June 2018 to 31 May 2021, with a total value of £46,440. Key details include a procurement method described as selective, under a restricted procedure, and the original tender period concluded on 25 May 2018.

This tender presents significant opportunities for companies specialising in mobile crane services, particularly those with the capacity to provide qualified operators and equipment meeting the specified criteria. Businesses with experience in supporting training facilities, especially in the defence sector, would be well-suited to compete. With HMS Sultan's requirement for 35-40 crane hires per year and diverse applications such as crane lifting for helicopter training and recovery operations, potential suppliers can access a steady stream of contractual work that supports growth in this niche market.
