## Summary

City College Plymouth is currently seeking suppliers for the supply of Wireless Access Points (WAPs) as part of its initiative to construct a new Centre of Excellence for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) at its Kings Road site in Plymouth, England. ## Notice

City College Plymouth is currently in the process of erecting a new Centre of Excellence for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) at its Kings Road site. The Site is due to be handed over during July 2017. The new building will interlace with the existing building and infrastructure. In order to maintain a single wireless network across the site; the College is seeking to purchase a number of Wireless Access Points which are compatible with the existing network. This request for quotation is for a one off purchase. As the value is anticipated to exceed PS25,000 the opportunity will be advertised on the Government Portal "Contracts Finder" as per the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Edit Date 25 November 2016 @ 13:00 Clarification Question added 1. Why do you only require 20 mounting kits for 71 AP's? Due to the intended locations of the WAPs, all but 20 will be installed on suspended ceilings. Therefore we believe only 20 flat mounts will be required. However, if an alternative solution to the Aruba is offered which does not include the integrated ceiling mount then these should be added as an optional extra. Additional information: Electronic submissions in response to this Request for Quotation will be accepted as long as they meet the following criteria: Sent via email to: tenders@cityplym.ac.uk Document standards: * Text must be in Microsoft Word format; * Price tables must be in Microsoft Excel format (using pricing schedule in Appendix A); * Supportive evidence may additionally be submitted in PDF format; * Images, Designs, and other supporting evidence may be in either JPEG or PDF format * Completed Appendix C Suitability Assessment & Selection Questionnaire (Including Mandatory & Discretionary Exclusions) Parts 1, 2 and 3. - Please note this suitability assessment will not be viewed unless you are the winning tenderer. Failure at this stage may prevent the contract from being awarded. * Signed Agreement Acceptance and Declaration. Please note that the College is able to accept submissions sent in a compressed or ".zip" file format, so long as the files contained meet the standards described above.
