## Summary

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) as part of early market engagement for the Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP) Network Infrastructure Services. The aim is to gather feedback on potential delivery models for the ARP Network Solutions. This engagement supports the current model used by NHS Ambulance Trusts in England, with optional participation from Scotland and Wales. The procurement stage is currently in the planning phase. Key dates include the publication of the RFI on 25 November 2024, an early market briefing on 29 November 2024, and the response deadline on 20 December 2024. Interested suppliers must express their interest by signing and returning a non-disclosure agreement to the DHSC by 22 November 2024. The project is classified under network infrastructure, hardware, and various IT services.

This RFI presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in network infrastructure, hardware, and IT services, including consulting, software development, and support services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to participate. This early engagement allows suppliers to inform the development of the procurement specifications and identify potential route-to-market strategies. While this notice is not a call for competition, it is an excellent chance for businesses to influence future procurement processes and position themselves as potential future suppliers for the ARP Network Solutions. Participating in the RFI could lead to valuable insights and partnerships within the public health sector.
