## Summary

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is managing the Planned Maintenance Contract, a significant procurement opportunity within the services industry, particularly focusing on repair and maintenance activities. The contract, valued at £351,144, is intended for maintenance services across various WMCA-owned infrastructures, including its head office in Birmingham and other facilities within the West Midlands. The initial term of the contract commenced on 1st April 2019 and will last until 31st March 2024, with the possibility of annual extensions for up to two additional years. This contract presents substantial opportunities for businesses within the repair and maintenance sector, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs). Companies that specialise in maintenance services, infrastructure management, or similar fields are well-suited to consider competing for future contracts or upcoming maintenance projects associated with WMCA’s extensive estate.
