## Notice

In 2016 the Council commissioned a survey in the City to establish how many asylum seekers and refugees are in the city that fall outside the home office schemes and who are in need of the service described below. The survey indicated the need for a service that provides the following:- * Asylum Support information * Help with access to the benefits system for people with entitlements * Improved awareness of available health services * Information about the job market and volunteering opportunities * Specialist immigration and asylum seeking advice * Support with making applications to the Home Office on behalf of clients applying for various visas/stays. This is a service for Asylum Seekers and Refugees in the City of Cambridge.
