The report investigated the condition of the grid structure and established additional loading from the original design. The feasibility of this additional loading and modifications are addressed in the structural report within the tender pack. The grid was surveyed from the ground, supporting roof, walkways around the structure and on the grid itself. As a result of the condition survey, items requiring attention have been extracted form the report and detailed within the specification as 'Key Recommendations'. The property fronts a busy main Road as indicated on the map below. Parking is heavily restricted in the immediate vicinity although provision from the council to park in Civic Way/Monson Way may be agreed.
