These works have been broken down into 4 different work packages, they include: - Package 1- Kingsway Box Sewer Works * Undertake localised concrete repairs to the covered approaches (where necessary). * Mortar repair to brickwork * Removal of vegetation growth from the structure. * Cleaning and repainting of the protective paint coating to the surface of the Gatic cover beams. Package 2- Covered Approaches - Repairs * Undertake localised concrete repairs to the covered approaches (where necessary). * Remove of vegetation growth from the structure. * The raking out and replacement of the expansion joint sealant. * The further investigation of the water ingress at vent shaft VS11 in the Liverpool Covered Approach. * Remove all temporary access systems and support structures and make good the existing structure. Package 3- Covered Approaches- Painting * Undertake localised cleaning of all concrete members via hand scraping and * pressure washing to remove existing anti-carbonation coating. * Painting of new anti-carbonation coating to covered approaches. Package 4- Retaining Walls and Overbridges * Extension of outfall pipes. * Replace missing bolt to infill mesh. * Replacement of a failed manhole. * Make safe exposed electrical cables. * Re-bed dislodged copings.
