## Notice

Kent County Council (the Council) has a statutory duty as a waste disposal council (WDA) for the receipt and onward processing / disposal of Abandoned Vehicles in Kent. The Council is looking to procure these services, which involves the recovery, transportation, temporary storage and often final disposal of Abandoned Vehicles found within the Kent boundary. Abandoned Vehicles are reported by District Councils directly to the supplier once they have attempted to contact the owner. Should the owner not wish to reclaim their vehicle, the supplier will be responsible for disposing of the vehicle. The Council requires a contract(s) for Abandoned Vehicle Services for a period of 24 months from the 22 September 2021 to 21 September 2023, with the option of an additional 24-month extension if required. The Council can split this contract into two Lots if required, as follows: * Lot 1 - West Kent (Dartford, Sevenoaks, Gravesham, Tonbridge and Malling & Tunbridge Wells) * Lot 2 - Mid and East Kent (Maidstone, Swale, Ashford, Canterbury, Thanet, Dover & Folkestone & Hythe.
