We would like to explore this further and would like to have informal discussions with potential suppliers of themed markets with a view to gaining: * A better understanding of what types of themed market are available and which may be interested in coming to Colchester * Understanding how themed markets work in terms of business models * How they operate * What kinds of contract are required * The demand for these markets in terms of footfall in other places * How and where charges apply * Risks * Opportunities * Benefits This is an exploratory research project, which we are looking to complete by the end of November which may lead to procurement of services at some point in future.
