## Summary

Birmingham City Council has awarded a contract valued at £145,140 under the title "Young Persons Outreach Navigator Service." This contract aligns with the CPV classification "Social work and related services" and aims to support young people with a history of rough sleeping. The council has employed the selective procurement method, specifically a call-off from a framework agreement. The contract is situated in the West Midlands, UK, with the service period commencing on 1st September 2025 and concluding on 30th April 2026. The procurement process is in the award stage as of the latest update on 14th January 2026.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for social welfare organisations, particularly large-scale entities or voluntary and community sector enterprises that can provide intensive, recovery-based services for young individuals facing housing instability. Organisations with staff experienced in homelessness or those offering flexible, non-time-limited support tailored to complex needs can significantly contribute to sustaining accommodation placements for vulnerable youth, thereby stemming the return to rough sleeping. Engaging in this sector could foster partnerships with healthcare, substance misuse, and wellbeing services, providing a holistic support model that could enhance organisational reputation and community impact.
