Please see attached documents in regard to this tender. Additional information: Question: In the Tender Document it is highlighted that Leachate Transportation is classed as non-hazardous, previously when we have undertaken this work each load has had to be registered on (HWCN) Hazardous Waste Consignment Note and we had to display boards when travelling on Public Highways. Waste Transport Regulations - 2X 3266 Class 8 (Corrosive). Has this now been downgraded? Answer: The leachate is classed as hazardous - section 11 of the tender makes reference to the regulations and requirement for a hazardous waste. Non Hazardous waste is reference to the landfill itself. Cell J only contains non-hazardous waste.
