## Summary

Canterbury City Council is currently engaging in the planning stage for their tender titled "Market Research Day for contract hire options for Waste, Recycling and Street Cleansing Services." This procurement process aims to identify suitable vehicles for the Council's waste management initiatives in Canterbury, located in the South East of the United Kingdom. The engagement end date is set for 15 October 2019, with a Market Research Day scheduled for 12 November 2019, where interested parties can apply for interview slots. Potential vehicles are expected to be operational by 21 January 2021, with a total estimated contract value of £1,800,000.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in vehicle provision, particularly those offering innovative solutions in waste management, recycling, and street cleansing services. Companies with capabilities in delivering environmentally friendly vehicles, including electric or alternative fuel options, would be particularly well-suited. Furthermore, firms experienced in fleet management and technical integration, such as GPS and camera systems, will find this tender aligns with their service offerings. Businesses are encouraged to register their interest and attend the upcoming Market Research Day to engage directly with the Council and enhance their chances of participating in the contract process.
