## Summary

The Crown Commercial Service is conducting an active procurement for the "Crown Marketplace Foundation" project, aimed at digitising the purchasing process of common goods and services for public sector users in London, United Kingdom. This contract, valued at £605,825, falls within the IT services sector, specifically focusing on consulting and software development. The procurement method utilised is a selective tender, with the contract period commencing on 13th September 2018 and concluding on 13th March 2019.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for SMEs specialising in IT services, particularly those with experience in digital transformation and user-centric design. Businesses equipped to develop digital services that streamline complex purchasing processes would be well-suited to compete for this contract. The project aims to enhance service delivery by providing a self-service guided user journey, suggesting that relevant expertise in agile methodologies and service design standards will be advantageous for prospective suppliers.

## Notice

Public sector users access multiple CCS commercial agreements (CCS-CA) to buy common goods and services. Currently, this is a manual, paper based process which is complex and hard to use. These need to be turned into digital services that allow users to access these CAs online and via a self-service guided user journey. There are five CAs identified for digitisation and this work will form the foundation of a platform to support more CCS-CAs in the near future. This work will provide the technical and architectural foundations for future digital buying of CCS-CAs, together with several self-service user journeys based on GDS service design standards. These will be the building blocks and components for the future digitisation of CCS-CAs.
