## Summary

The Surrey County Council is seeking proposals for the "SCC/ESCC APC Orbis Construction Framework Agreement," which falls under the construction industry. This procurement process is currently in the award stage, having been completed on 7th July 2017, with the contract period running from 17th July 2017 to 16th July 2020. The framework aims to address public sector construction needs in the South East of England, primarily focusing on projects related to education, healthcare, and local authority developments. Interested suppliers should note that the contract value is estimated to exceed £500 million over the next five years and that the framework includes two lots, catering to different project scales with specific financial thresholds.

This tender presents considerable opportunities for businesses, particularly those involved in construction, renovation, and infrastructure development. Companies of various sizes might find the framework appealing, especially those that can provide services tailored to educational institutions and public sector facilities. Businesses with experience in delivering large-scale projects, such as new builds and refurbishments across a variety of sectors—ranging from education to emergency services—are well-positioned to compete in this procurement process. The inclusion of SMEs in the framework highlights a commitment to fostering diverse supplier participation, enabling smaller firms to engage in significant public contracts.
