The key objectives of the Procurement are to establish a contract with a Provider to pilot a rehabilitation programme in primary care, delivering a minimum of 100 training places aimed at patients. The Provider will be appointed in February and the pilot will need to commence in March 2023. The pilot will run across 1-2 Integrated Care Systems (ICSs). These ICSs will be confirmed at a later date. This programme is designed to support patients who have presented in general practice as aggressive or violent, and should adopt a trauma informed approach in order to ensure it meets the complex needs of some patients. The service delivered is designed to be on a voluntary basis for the following patient groups: * patients who have been placed in the Special Allocation Scheme or SAS (previously known as the Violent Patient Scheme., VPS), and/or * patients whom have received a warning letter regarding their behaviour.
