Dementia is the most feared disease for the over 55's and the risk of developing dementia doubles approximately every 5 years after the age of 65. Dementia accounts for 2/3 of all occupied hospital and residential beds and costs the economy PS26b per year. This procurement is being run via the Atamis e-procurement portal.
