## Summary

The Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is awarding a contract for the maintenance of their fleet and associated equipment, identified as PRN - 004096, in the services industry. This award follows a selective procurement method under a restricted procedure, with the contract period set to commence on 1st July 2019 and concluding on 30th June 2024. The contract encompasses both light and heavy fleet vehicles, including fire appliances and related equipment, and covers the locality of Nottinghamshire, specifically the East Midlands region. The tender's award was officially published on 15th April 2019, following its completion on 9th April 2019, and prior expressions of interest were submitted by potential suppliers prior to the end date of the tender period on 17th August 2018.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in fleet management and maintenance services, particularly for SMEs looking to expand their operations. Companies specialising in vehicle maintenance, repair services, or those with expertise in handling a wide range of equipment, especially in the emergency services sector, will find themselves well-positioned to engage with the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service's requirements. As this tender specifically excludes operational equipment like breathing apparatus, suppliers focusing on service-based maintenance for vehicles can leverage this opportunity to establish or strengthen their partnerships with public sector clients.
