The purpose of the Council's Taxi Driving Standards Assessment (practical driving test) is to : *Ensure that Applicants for Dual Driver Licences can correctly answer two vehicle safety checks. *Ensure that Applicants for Dual Driver Licences are assessed in Advanced Driving Techniques appropriate for a professional taxi driver. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
