## Summary

The Security Industry Authority (SIA), based in London, is overseeing a procurement process titled "SIA 913 - Confidential Storage and Destruction" in the industry category of Storage and Warehousing Services. The contract involves the provision of a comprehensive document management solution, including secure storage, transportation, and destruction of documents to comply with GDPR regulations. The procurement has been completed, with the final award made on 10 November 2025, and the contract period slated from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2028. The procurement method employed was selective, specifically a call-off from a framework agreement, tailored to attract small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The tender had a minimum value of £180,000 and an estimated total value of £240,000, with services to be provided within the United Kingdom.

This tender presents lucrative opportunities for businesses in the storage, logistics, and information management sectors, particularly SMEs, aiming to expand their governmental contracts portfolio. The contract demands robust solutions for securely transporting and storing documents, alongside efficient audit trails and regular reporting. Businesses with established procedures for compliance with GDPR and public sector requirements stand a better chance at competing effectively. The appointed supplier is Restore, a large company, indicating that organisations with scalable operations to manage high volumes of physical and digital document storage may benefit significantly from similar opportunities. This tender can be a gateway for businesses to forge lasting relationships with public authorities and expand their operational footprint in the public sector.
