The tender seeks organisations that can demonstrate past performance in similar services and the ability to engage closely with primary care practitioners to enhance patient access and outcomes in dermatological treatment. ## Notice NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SDCCG) is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers to deliver Dermatology Services across Southern Derbyshire. The Commissioners are looking for suitably qualified providers who have experience of delivering Dermatology services and the ability to deliver a comprehensive patient-centred service. The service will provide a safe, high quality, cost effective service for people with non-complex dermatological skin conditions that require specialist assessment as well as Low risk BCC removal in line with NICE guidance and excision of benign facial/non-facial cyst/lesion/lipoma. NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SDCCG) serves a registered population of approximately 548,000 people. The service will be required to: * Accept dermatology referrals from all SDCCG member practices * Ensure service users with a dermatological condition outside the scope of general practice receive a professional, responsive and high quality service that meets their needs whilst providing effective service delivery * Ensure service users' equity of access to healthcare * Deliver measureable improvements in service user experience * Deliver value for money in the delivery of dermatology services * Provide services from fit for purpose, community based settings to meet the varying clinical needs of service users * Ensure close working relationships with primary care, GpwSI/Community Skin Clinicians and tertiary centres. * Is potentially able to work with tele-dermatology to support reductions in avoidable appointments * Provide training and support to CCG commissioned GpwSI/community Skin Clinicians. Please note that this is a market testing exercise to inform the CCG decision making process. This does not commit the CCG to carry out a procurement process.
