## Summary

The procurement process, led by NHS England, focuses on the contract titled "Implementation of GP referral pathway to NHS CPCS." This initiative falls within the health services industry category and is aimed at improving the implementation of the General Practice referral route into the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service. Located in Leeds, England, the tender is currently in the active stage, with a tender period that ended on 22nd October 2021. The contract is valued at £1,700,000 and is expected to commence on 22nd December 2021, running until 31st March 2022. The procurement method utilised is an open procedure above the threshold, allowing wide participation from potential suppliers.

This tender presents significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs). Businesses specialising in the development and delivery of learning solutions for healthcare professionals, especially those with the capability to offer adaptable and locally relevant training materials, would be well-suited to compete for this contract. With NHS England's focus on enhancing GP practice operations, suppliers that can demonstrate innovative, flexible solutions for training and support will likely find this an advantageous opportunity.

## Notice

NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSEI) Pharmacy Integration Fund Programme (PhIF) propose to commission an organisation to work with the NHSEI Access Improvement Programme (AIP) and regional NHSEI implementation leads to support GP practices in rapidly implementing the General Practice referral route into the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (GP CPCS). The provider should look to provide a range of effective learning solutions for GP practice care navigators and receptionists delivered through different methods and media, working with the NHSEI AIP team and NHSEI regional implementation leads. The learning solutions must appeal to all learning styles. The provider will need to produce a programme that is sufficiently adaptable to meet the needs of practices, working with leadership and whole teams, and take on board their current levels of demand and help support them make changes to daily practice. Materials should be flexible to reflect local need, linking in with any approaches which have already been developed (e.g. at ICS level).
