## Summary

The South of England Procurement Centre is initiating a tender process for the "Radiopharmacy Joint Venture Partner" to facilitate the provision of radiopharmaceutical products, including Tc-99m, at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. The procurement is currently at the planning stage, with an engagement end date set for 13th March 2020. The contract aims to make the Trust's radiopharmacy facilities available to the successful supplier, who will be expected to pay a fixed rent and share revenue from external sales. The classification for this procurement falls under 'Radio-isotopes' (CPV 09344000), relevant to the healthcare and medical industry.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for companies involved in the production or supply of radiopharmaceuticals to leverage the facilities at a prominent NHS hospital. Businesses with expertise in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and those capable of maintaining high-quality standards in pharmaceutical production will find themselves well-suited to compete. With the ability to extend operations to external customers, interested suppliers can not only meet institutional demands but also expand their market reach, potentially increasing their revenue through strategic partnerships and collaboration with the Trust.
