Therefore, it is of great importance to the institution that we gain oversight of these checks and that they pass through a robust process. UCL currently does not have an all-encompassing contract with a single umbrella body, but itself acts as a Registered Body for some student checks. The School of Pharmacy and the Institute of Education have their own accounts with the umbrella body Atlantic Data. UCL is looking to appoint a DBS checking provider that will provide a streamlined service that will cover all UCL students.
