NHS Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), on behalf of West Leicestershire CCG and East Leicestershire & Rutland CCG is considering the procurement of a Diabetes Structured Education service for a small cohort of patients. Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland (LLR) CCGs are looking for provider(s) to deliver two elements through two separate lots: - making available tailored services for diabetic women planning on becoming pregnant; - developing a course for patients under the age of 18 years with type 2 diabetes The provider(s) will be expected to: - develop a diabetes education course - undertake patient and service user engagement - commence running the face to face education (either through one to one or group education) Estimated value for both lots is circa PS200k for six months. The purpose of this PIN is to make providers aware of the CCGs' intent.
