This procurement falls within the social security services industry category and is located in London. The procurement process is currently at the cancellation stage, with the contract originally scheduled to commence in January 2017 and run for two years, potentially extendable. The tender period concluded on 12th September 2016, and the estimated contract value is £16 million, involving a selective procurement method.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in administrative and social services, particularly those with capacity to handle large volumes of claims processing under stringent quality standards. Companies involved in benefit services, law, consulting, or temporary staffing solutions would find this tender particularly relevant, as it aims to improve the efficiency of local authority operations while reducing reliance on temporary staff. Engaging in this tender could foster partnerships with multiple London Borough Councils, thus opening avenues for further growth and collaboration within the public sector.
