## Summary

The procurement process has been initiated by the CTM Portal for the NDA Shared Services Alliance, with the tender titled "Independent Facilitation." This project falls under the administration services industry category and is located in Calderbridge, England. The procurement is currently in the Award stage, following a restrictive procedure, with a contract award valued at £93,600. The contract started on 2nd November 2020 and is set to conclude on 30th September 2021, having first been published on 9th November 2020.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs) that are adept at community engagement and facilitation. Companies skilled in interpersonal communication and community-level processes would be particularly well-positioned to compete for this contract, as the role involves guiding community discussions and ensuring constructive collaboration among involved parties in the radioactive waste management sector.

## Notice

Radioactive Waste Management requires a Contractor to provide an Independent Facilitation for the support and implementation of its engagement with the community. The role of an independent facilitator is to ensure that the discussions progress in a constructive and informative manner. The role of facilitation will be crucial to the success of Working Groups in designing and delivering the engagement with communities; ask relevant questions and directing conversation to cover the points of interest from the interested parties in the siting process and other members of the community. Facilitators will possess strong inter-personal and influencing skills, ideally with a comprehensive understanding of working at a community level. The facilitator will bring 'process' expertise in advising parties on how to proceed and then using appropriate structures, frameworks, methods and techniques to enable the work to be progressed effectively.
