West Yorkshire Police Occupational Health Unit would like to secure the provision of an Independent Psychiatrist for staff and officers within West Yorkshire Police. The service would be used for current West Yorkshire Police employees whom we can refer to the service provider to obtain an independent opinion. This could be for those officers and staff who are off sick and we wish for the to be assessed for medical capability. This service could also be used to assess medical capability and whether or not the individual should be considered for permanency (medically retired) from their role.
