## Summary

The Cumbria County Council is seeking a supplier for the provision of an Electronic Medication Administration Software System for its Older Adults Residential Care Homes in Cumbria. This tender process is currently at the award stage with a contract value of £86,976. The deadline for the tender period is 16th November 2022. The awarded contract has a start date of 1st February 2023. The main procurement category is IT services, and the Council has identified the buying organisation as Cumbria County Council. The procurement method used is an open procedure.

This opportunity presents a chance for SMEs in the IT services sector, particularly those specializing in consulting, software development, Internet, and support services. Businesses that can provide Electronic Medication Administration Software Systems meeting the specified requirements, and are capable of working with care services and health partners, are well-suited to compete. The buyer, Cumbria County Council, is looking for a solution that enhances medication administration across its care homes while supporting a person-centred approach to care delivery.
