The Primary Care Network Facilitator service will cover all of North East London and will provide facilitators to work with primary care teams to support the early diagnosis of cancer. They will be responsible for supporting, educating and influencing primary care teams, health professionals and local health systems to improve cancer services in line with NEL Cancer Alliance's programmes of work and strategy. The service will support the NHS Long Term Plan and the Primary Care Network Direct Enhanced Service (PCN DES) requirements. Please refer to the service specification document for further information on the service. In line with the Health and Care Bill it is envisaged that CCGs will be abolished and replaced by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). Any reference to CCGs as Contracting Authorities in this procurement should be interpreted as referring to the ICBs that will take their place in due course. The estimated total Value of the Contract is PS421,047.90. The total value is based on an annual value of PS210,523 per year. The Contract will be for a period of 2 years.
