BEIS requires provision of technical expertise, facilities, and services in the following areas: -Design and development of a conformance testing scheme for PAS 1878 -Design and development of performance testing schemes for PAS 1878 and the GB smart metering system in accordance with the SAPC specification -Laboratory testing of DSR systems -Design and demonstration of DSR systems to test functionality in settings and scenarios indicative of the real world. DSR systems to be tested include energy smart appliances, (e.g. heat pumps, EV charge points, batteries and white goods), DSR service providers and the supporting systems for operation in low-voltage premises.
