This is an approach whereby all partners are clear about their respective roles in securing great outcomes for children and young people, that the city's priorities are properly identified and translated in to the right actions for settings, schools and their children. The Primary Strategy Group (PSG) is a group of interested stakeholders from primary schools, early years providers, public health, early help services and a health commissioner. The city council is working on behalf of PSG and the local Opportunity Area Board by seeking tenders for five different development programmes from interested parties who have a successful track record of system leadership and improving outcomes for children at key stages 1 and 2. There are five separate Lots as follows: * Lot 1 - improving outcomes for children in Key Stages 1 & 2 in Reading. * Lot 2 - improving outcomes for children in Key Stages 1 & 2 in Writing. * Lot 3 - improving outcomes for children in Key Stages 1 & 2 in Phonics. * Lot 4 - improving outcomes for children in Key Stages 1 & 2 in Maths. * Lot 5 - improving outcomes for children for children in Key Stages 1 & 2 with English as an additional language.
