## Summary

The Association of North East Councils, acting as NEPO (North East Procurement Organisation), has initiated a procurement process titled "NEPO202 Remarketing of Vehicles and Plant." This tender falls under the services industry category and is aimed at establishing a 48-month framework agreement for a managed remarketing service for the auction disposal of vehicles and plant across the UK. The procurement method used is an open procedure, and the process is currently in the Award stage, with the agreement actively signed on 19th October 2020. This framework will be available for use by various contracting authorities across all administrative regions of the UK, ensuring wide accessibility to governmental and public sector entities.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses looking to expand their reach within the public sector, particularly for firms specialising in auction services or asset management. Companies that offer expertise in vehicle and plant remarketing, including collection, preparation, and sales management, would be well-positioned to compete. As the framework allows for up to seven suppliers, with contracts awarded on a non-ranked basis, this opens avenues for both small and large enterprises to participate in delivering services that optimise the sale of disposed assets, potentially driving business growth in the UK market.

## Notice

The Association of North East Councils trading as NEPO is to establish a 48 month framework agreement for the provision of a managed remarketing service, for the disposal by auction of vehicles and plant. Contractors will be responsible for the collection, preparation for sale, storage, remarketing, sale of vehicles and plant and similar assets with the prompt return of sale proceeds after disposal. The sale process must be managed by the contractors to return optimum residual sale proceeds after disposal. The sale process must be managed by the contractor/s to return maximum value. NEPO intends to make this framework agreement available for use by all contracting authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts regulations 2015).
