## Summary

The procurement process titled "CPCA - CAM Programme Procurement" is being conducted by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, focusing on architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services. Located in Ely, the tender is currently in the planning stage and will conclude on 8th February 2021, with subsequent stages of the procurement occurring on 16th February 2021. This tender aims to establish a framework agreement to support the development of an autonomous vehicle network that connects key areas in the region, facilitating long-term economic growth.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in engineering, construction, project management, and financial advisory services. Companies equipped with expertise in autonomous vehicle systems, transport planning, environmental impact assessments, and related services would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. The framework agreement structure allows for collaborative approaches, encouraging partnerships or consortia for interested suppliers, thereby broadening participation in advancing this innovative regional transport initiative.

## Notice

The CAM vision is for an expansive autonomous vehicle metro-style network that seamlessly connects regional settlements, major city fringe employment sites and key satellite growth areas across the region with key railway stations and Cambridge city centre, helping to nurture and sustain long-term regional economic growth. The CPCA, with and on behalf of ONE CAM Ltd, are seeking to establish a framework agreement covering various work streams that are required to develop the Cambridgeshire Autonomous Metro whilst integrating with the Market Towns delivery projects. This to include progressing the project through the treasury green book business case process and then supporting the overarching master planning for the project and progression through into the early works and potentially delivering the project design requirements.
