## Summary

The procurement process involves Gloucester City Council seeking to establish a development funding agreement with RG17 Limited and Reef Estates Limited for the project titled "The Forum, King's Quarter" in Gloucester. This initiative falls under the category of 'Development of non-residential real estate' and is currently in the Award stage, having been finalised on 13 January 2021. The overall contract is valued at £94 million, with approximately 86% of this amount expected to be subject to public procurement processes. The project will be executed in two phases, with the first phase located at Market Parade, Gloucester City Centre, and the second focused on the Forum, King's Quarter site.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses engaged in construction, consultancy, and property management services, particularly those experienced in mixed-use developments. Companies with expertise in delivering retail, leisure, and residential projects will be well-suited to compete, especially since a substantial portion of the contract is likely to be subcontracted to third parties. The collaborative nature of this venture also opens avenues for innovation and partnership among service providers, contributing to the revitalisation of Gloucester’s urban landscape.
