## Summary

The Ministry of Defence's Land Equipment, Defence Fuel Acquisition Programme (DFAP) has issued a tender titled "DFAP/0044 - Ground Fuel to Exercise". This open procurement process, which is currently active, seeks to supply diesel fuel (DIESO MT compliant with BS EN 590) for military exercises across nine training sites in the UK. The contract, estimated to be valued at £1.3 million, has a contract period starting from 1 April 2021 and ending on 31 March 2024. Interested parties must submit their bids electronically via the AWARD Virtual Tender Board by 10:00 am GMT on 16 February 2021.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) geared towards supplying petroleum products and fuel services, as the contract is particularly well-suited for businesses that can meet security, accessibility, and environmental criteria for the delivery of fuel to military vehicles. Companies involved in logistics and fuel supply, especially those with experience in governmental contracts, are encouraged to participate in this procurement process as the Ministry of Defence aims to foster inclusive competition.
