Health Education England intends to commence a new procurement in March 2021 for the delivery of an Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Awards programme (to include three lots for Internships, Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Bridging Programmes) for healthcare professionals (excluding doctors and dentists) who wish to develop careers that combine clinical research, research leadership with continued clinical practice and clinical development. It is intended to procure an integrated suite of internship, pre-doctoral and post-doctoral bridging fellowship places for an initial period of three academic years. The tender response window will run from mid March to the end of April 2021. Contracts will be awarded in July 2021 for commencement of services in late 2021.
