## Summary

The procurement process initiated by West Sussex County Council focuses on adult education provision set to commence in August 2022. Currently in the planning stage, this tender seeks feedback through soft market testing to evaluate market capacity and capabilities. The council, classified under the industry category of "Adult and other education services" (CPV code: 80400000), aims to enhance educational participation for over 3,000 adults annually across various venues in West Sussex. Interested parties are invited to complete a survey by the deadline of 19th February 2021, which will inform the commissioning process. Future notices regarding this tender are planned for 1st September 2021.

This opportunity presents significant prospects for businesses engaging in the adult education sector, particularly those offering skills training, employability, and digital access courses. Companies that specialise in educational services for disadvantaged groups, including individuals with low qualifications or specific learning needs, would be particularly well-suited to participate. By effectively responding to the identified aims of increasing participation and addressing the impacts of the Covid pandemic, businesses can position themselves for growth and contribute positively to the community's educational landscape.
