## Summary

St. Helens Council is currently seeking to appoint accredited organisations to join an existing Approved List for the Provision of Domiciliary Care Services, a process that began with a tender dated 10th February 2021, classified under the Health and social work services category. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, aimed at creating an Approved List that includes Tier 1 providers using electronic call monitoring systems and Tier 2 providers without such systems. This tender specifically targets organisations able to provide care for vulnerable populations, including older adults and individuals with disabilities, within the St Helens region, with operational hours spanning from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm throughout the year.

This procurement presents a significant opportunity for growth for businesses specialising in domiciliary care, particularly those based in or near St Helens. Companies with a proven track record in delivering high-quality care services are encouraged to engage in this bidding process. Successful bidders will not only gain access to a continuous stream of service users through the mini-competition process set for care package awards but will also benefit from being part of a structured framework that positions them as trusted providers in the local market.
