This will enable the North Tyneside and Newcastle Councils, together with the North of Tyne Combined Authority and wider partners, to: maximise the opportunities for Government investment along the Tyne highlight future priority infrastructure requirements understand how best to address challenges faced in the use of the river for transport purposes secure further inward investment identify future skills and training needs for the sector better articulate the cultural, leisure and residential offer along the river highlight low-carbon transport access issues and their impact on economic and wider objectives understand the spatial implications of different uses of riverside frontage.
