## Summary

The procurement process is managed by NHS Tees Valley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) in partnership with several local authorities to establish a Family Support Service for Children and Young People with Neurodevelopmental Needs. This initiative falls under the health services category and follows an open procurement method as per the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, specifically under the Light Touch Regime. Key dates include the deadline for submission of tender returns, which was set for 12 noon on 30 December 2020, and the procurement was made available for viewing on the In-Tend e-tendering portal from 11 December 2020. The initial contract was for a duration of two years, with the potential for a one-year extension depending on performance. The contracting authority's focus includes improving the economic, social, and environmental well-being of the area.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health and social care services, particularly those experienced in providing support for children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs. Companies that can demonstrate a commitment to social value and have the capacity to deliver inclusive and tailored care services would be well-positioned to compete effectively. Moreover, the electronic tendering process offers accessibility for potential providers, enabling them to engage in the procurement process conveniently.
