## Summary

The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is initiating a Prior Information Notice (PIN) titled "MET POLICE__COUPA EVENT #64_Prior Information Notice (PIN) Provision of Fuel and Storage Requirement." This PIN is focused on the provision of fuels and falls under the goods procurement category. It is currently in the planning stage, with responses due by 31st March 2021 at 12pm (BST). For market engagement, suppliers are invited to express their interest via the Coupa eTendering platform, with the PIN's validity extended until the specified deadline.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for businesses in the fuel supply and storage sectors, particularly those specialising in bulk fuel provision and logistical support services. Companies that can deliver efficient supply solutions or have experience working with public sector entities are particularly well-suited to participate. Engaging in this early market exercise could enhance their chances for future contracts with the MPS, as the agency seeks comprehensive market insight to inform its procurement strategies.

## Notice

The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) would like to undertake market engagement with Commercial Fuel providers and Forecourt Operators to establish supply interest and obtain an understanding of supply capability to meet MPS fuel and storage requirements. The MPS may at its sole discretion enter into discussions with respondents through this PIN. Information provided will be used to inform the MPS in its continued development of delivery and procurement strategies for any future contracts that follow on from this PIN.
