## Summary

The procurement process involves a planned tender titled "NECS388 Family Support Service for Children and Young People with a Neurodevelopmental Need," initiated by the NHS Tees Valley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), along with five local authorities in the Tees Valley region, including Hartlepool, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland, and Stockton on Tees. This procurement falls under the health and social work services category and aims to engage with the market through a Request for Information (RFI) exercise. Key dates include the deadline for RFI responses on 12th March 2021, and a market engagement event scheduled for 15th and 16th March 2021, which will be held online, allowing interested providers to discuss the draft service model directly with commissioners.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on delivering family support services, particularly those with expertise in health and social care for children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs. Service providers in this sector, especially those with a local presence in the Tees Valley area, would be well-suited to compete. By participating in this market engagement and responding to the RFI, businesses can potentially influence future service commissioning and expand their service offerings within the public sector, tapping into a contract valued at £576,000.
