## Summary

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, is planning a procurement process for the supply of a Public WiFi Service, aimed at replacing the existing service across its network of approximately 70 sites. The tender is currently in the planning stage, with a virtual supplier engagement event scheduled for 24 and 25 March 2021. Interested suppliers must express their intent to participate by contacting Ian Jones by 12:00 pm on Monday, 15 March 2021. This procurement falls under the services category, specifically targeting internet service providers, with a total estimated value of £150,000.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in internet services, particularly those offering scalable WiFi solutions suitable for public healthcare environments. Companies with experience in providing secure and adaptable internet services for healthcare facilities, including flexible fibre-based systems, will be well-positioned to compete. The extensive network of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, serving a sizeable population, offers an advantageous platform for businesses looking to expand their client base within the public service sector.
