## Summary

The procurement process, titled "PRO004428-Goods-Framework-Supply and Delivery of Monitoring and Control Instrumentation", is organised by United Utilities Water Limited, based in Warrington, United Kingdom. This tender falls under the category of goods, specifically focusing on instrumentation and control equipment related to water and wastewater management. Currently, it is at the award stage, with a total contract value of £11,358,000 and effective from April 7, 2022. The procurement method employed is selective, involving a negotiated procedure with prior call for competition, aimed at ensuring the delivery of accurate data collection from the relevant instrumentation.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the industrial process control equipment sector and related fields. Suppliers providing monitoring and control instrumentation, particularly those skilled in servicing water and wastewater applications, will find the framework agreements advantageous. The contract's longevity, allowing for potential extensions, combined with the necessity for high-quality equipment, creates a stable environment for suppliers looking to expand their market presence and engage in ongoing work with United Utilities Water and its appointed parties.

## Notice

The Agreements aim is to ensure that we receive accurate and reliable data from our instruments so that we can monitor the rate, volume and quality of the water and wastewater throughout our sites and networks while providing standardisation and consistency across all of our sites in order to reduce overall costs.
