## Summary

NHS England is initiating a procurement process for Child Health Information Services (CHIS) in the Surrey and Thames Valley region, with a planned commencement date of 1st April 2022. The procurement falls under the health and social work services category and will be conducted under the "Light Touch Regime" in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This opportunity consists of one or more contracts with an estimated total value of approximately £3,800,000 per annum, potentially extending over a total of eight years. Interested providers are encouraged to respond to a market engagement questionnaire by 31st March 2021 to influence the procurement process, which is set to be published in April or May 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the healthcare sector, particularly those specialising in health information systems and the management of child health records. Companies capable of providing comprehensive IT solutions, administrative support for health records, and a focus on child health services would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. Participation in this procurement can enable businesses to expand their operations, enhance service delivery in local communities, and contribute to public health initiatives affecting a substantial population across Surrey and Thames Valley.
