## Notice

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is intending to procure an acceleration support administrator and provider to help facilitate acceleration support services for up to 200 SME's in the upcoming Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP). Acceleration support focusses on identifying and filling skills gaps within companies that may prevent them from bringing innovations to market effectively, whilst also providing specialist advisors to support companies in the development of appropriate knowledge and skills. The contractor will be responsible for the administration and provision of bespoke incubation support services to BEIS funded companies. The service will provide support to companies working across a wide range of technology areas, as such it is expected that the service will offer up-to-date, technology-relevant expertise which will effectively inform and advise companies towards commercialisation.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

BEIS seek a contractor to deliver acceleration support services for up to 200 SMEs in the upcoming BEIS Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP). It is expected that the NZIP will fund many SMEs through its innovation programmes. To ensure best value for money from these projects, incubation support will be offered alongside their project deliverables, thereby increasing the capability of companies to exploit & commercialise their specific technology. The contractor will be responsible for both the administration & provision of Acceleration Support services, identifying & filling skills gaps within companies that currently prevent them from bringing innovations to market efficiently. It is expected the contractor will be able to identify Acceleration advisors who have the knowledge and expertise to provide bespoke & strategic advice to companies. A supplier engagement day was held in October 2021 - please contact acceleration.support@beis.gov.uk for outputs from this event. Additional information: An ITT with the full contract requirements will be published in the last two weeks April 2021, with the contract being awarded in July 2021.
