## Summary

Nottingham City Council is currently seeking tenders for the project titled "CPU 1995 Asbestos Surveys and Analytical Services." This procurement process falls under the services industry category, specifically within architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services, with a total value of £300,000. The tender is in the active stage and submissions must be received by 19 April 2021. The selected contractor will undertake essential asbestos management activities in compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, with a contract duration of up to 720 days and the potential for two additional one-year extensions.

This opportunity presents a significant chance for companies experienced in asbestos surveys, sampling, and analytical services to engage with local authorities, including Nottingham City Council and potentially other district councils in the region. Businesses that specialise in environmental compliance, construction, and safety services would be well-suited to compete for this contract, as they will be tasked with providing critical reports and ongoing management of asbestos-related issues. The selective procurement method allows for a streamlined process, ensuring that qualified firms have a fair opportunity to secure this framework agreement.
