## Summary

Durham County Council is initiating a procurement process titled "Provider Panel for Day Services," classified under health and social work services. This procurement, currently in the planning stage, aims to establish a Provider Panel to deliver various day services for specified user groups. The estimated value of the procurement is £87,260,000, and interested parties should note that the future notice date is set for 5 April 2021. The services will be delivered within the UKC14 region, which encompasses the Durham area.

This tender presents considerable opportunities for businesses in the health and social care sector, particularly those providing services related to social care, rehabilitation, and community support. Companies that focus on practical support, carer respite, and outreach activities for various user groups—including older adults and individuals with disabilities—would be well-positioned to compete. The structure allowing multiple successful providers enhances the possibility for different service providers to participate and grow their business within this framework.
